UCD Rugby has a long and proud tradition of playing at the highest level in Ireland since 1910. The values of teamwork and leadership exhibited by the players on and off the field, continue to be a great inspiration for our firm and
our staff. Crowe is proud to be the official club sponsor of UCD Rugby. Like the Club, our firm recognises the importance of investing in the training and development of young talent. We are very privileged to have Crowe as main club sponsor. They supported us when we needed it most and it is a relationship we deeply value. Since becoming sponsors in 2013 we have seen the club go from strength to strength, developing players that compete at the highest level. The club has produced many notable players over the years who have gone on to wear the Irish jersey and also represent the British
and Irish Lions. Players like Brian O’Driscoll, Mick Doyle
and Fergus Slattery, to name just a few. More recently, players like Garry Ringrose,
Rob Kearney, Josh van der Flier and Dan Leavy are making a big impact on the Irish team
and were part of the 2018 Grand Slam squad. Support from sponsors like Crowe has also enabled the club to further develop our women’s rugby teams and establish what has become a hugely successful tag ruby programme. The relationship we have fostered with UCD Rugby gives us the opportunity to interact with players and attend a range of social
events throughout the year. Our employees have also been able to support the club’s charity initiatives. For example, we joined players from the club to fundraise for cancer research over the last few years. It’s Crowe’s loyal support that helps
the club focus on what it does best – developing young talent and ensuring our players reach their full potential, both personally and professionally. Crowe wishes UCD Rugby continued success. We are extremely proud of our long-standing relationships with the club, its players, coaches and managers.
