BRANDON MORGAN: Denison field hockey lost a heartbreaker tonight as they fell to Washington and Lee 1-0 in double overtime ending the 2017 season. We caught up with head coach PJ Soteriades after the game. PJ SOTERIADES: It was a great game, it was super fun. Some of our players had some of their best games of the entire season, some of them had the best game of their career today and some of those were seniors and for them to end their career and their season on the best game that they’ve ever played is pretty impressive. And they have fought to keep this experience not only great for them as a senior class, but great as a legacy to continue for the future. They fought every ball, every minute of this game and you know we created a ton of opportunities, we fell just short. But it was a fun game to play and to watch and I couldn’t be more proud of them. Once again Congratulations to the 2017 Denison Field Hockey team Thank you for all the friends and family who supported the Big Red throughout this entire season. We’ll see you again in 2018 from Washington and Lee, Brandon Morgan DSN You
