January the 31st. (sports fan cheering)
Probably something I will never forget and put in my notes.
I had an opportunity to go to the Capital game, to hokcey, to ice hockey in D.C., and
I’ve never been to a hockey game before. Had an opportunity for [indistinguishable]
some of the family. I had my telescope glasses on.
It can help to see. Oh my lord, it was just like, you know, I was in a suite… and it was just
great. So when I sat down, I said “Ok I can see these
but how are these glasses going to work?” [indisting uishable] And um… it was great! Oh it was great. I
mean from… (sighs) I guess I can say this… I don’t know how to describe this. It’s like
going somewhere that’s blacked out and feeling against the wall when I get there.
And then when I get there, somebody cuts the lights off and I was [indistinguishable].
That why [indistringuishable] but I saw that and I could follow it.
I mean as small as that was I could follow it. Now, some of it got away but most of it
I can really really I enjoyed the game. Binocular glasses, I mean, with these two,
they really help me put my lifestyle back. And not only that, I was so excited that even
just watching the people cleaning the ice with the machine and when the guys skating
would clean the ice… That was… It was like looking at three or four different
shows at one time. I don’t know if I was like at a circus or
a kid at the candy store. What I can see though is just great!
[Indistinguishable] [Indistinguishable] person feel like with these glasses on… I’m glad to know what it’s like to get an
opportunity to see again. And all I could think of are people who gave me that opportunity…
and I don’t take that for granted. God Bless… Thank you all. Female Voice Off Screen: Time of your life right? That’s right!
