I’ve had this project in mind for several
years, now. And when BeaverCraft sent me these knives
to try out, I decided it was the perfect time to carve it! I thought it was real nice of them to send
me a package of bandaids too, just in case. I really enjoy the peace and quiet of carving
with hand tools. It’s really relaxing! I’ve been following the work of a fellow wood
carver for many years, now. He lives along the creek back up in the hills. Today me and Pearl decided to pay him a visit. Here’s an example of one of his recent carvings…and
here’s one of his older works. When it comes to building, he’s a master of
his trade. The beaver was the very first wood carver. And I”ve always admired his work. “What’s in there? It looks like the Beavers used to live in
there, anyway. They’ve been woodcarving a lot longer than
I have. There’s a ready-made, beaver-carved walking
stick, right there. Come on Pearl!” I really like all the blade profiles of these
knives. There is a shape for just about everything
that you need. Carving like a Beaver is a lot of fun! Pearl enjoys carving like a Beaver, too! She’s doing a pretty good job of it. I use the wood burner to add details to the
fur. If you’re interested in carving like a Beaver,
there is a link in the description where you can purchase a fine set of BeaverCraft carving tools. Thanks for watching! I’ll see you on the next one!

I love watching your videos so much. I really liked seeing you use carving knives for this. It had to be time consuming. I just love the way you show appreciation for nature in your videos. Pearl is such a spark of joy. My favorite moment from your videos was when she tried to help and stole your sandpaper. How old is she? Shes too precious.

It was almost like meditation for me, so relaxing, at a pace that just floated along with lovely little Pearl with you on the journey to explore the Beaver lodge as well as lying on your lap whilst you carve, I`ve missed that little dog since she wasn`t always in your last videos, well, she`s back and carving for herself, sweet. Mike thank you again you and your family are the best, I`m your biggest fan, good weekend to you all.

    Mornin’ Again Mr Stinnett …

Yup ! … the link you sent me last nite, I can now see the 2 sets of carving tools I am after

So Thanks-A-Bunch my friend for sortin’ that out for me

I’ve not actually started whittlin’ or carvin’ anything at all in my life yet but will be soon

I just want to try & kinda be set-up in a good way with some hand tools before I start

    I’m not even sure about how much “ hand/arm pressure/force “ I’ll
Need for this ? You make it look so effortless and smooth

I’ll have to do this all from the confines of my bed due to my skin sore illness at the moment. Ive had to find other interests via my iphone surfin’ on the net as I am totally bedridden at the moment

I also watch -: Doug Linkers Youtube/Facebook Channel

His little whittled family of miniature men characters are SO Cool !

While I try my hand the wood shavin’ mess will just need to be hoovered up from My bed I guess !

Ill try to send you a photo of me when I was a little more mobile in life. Which i hope to be again sometime

I CSNT GET & it would be TOTAL
waste of time for me to get on patreon to buy sticks n things from you. Even for me to “ just have one in a design I like “ even tho I cant actually walk to use it

By The Way before I forget – Any other great Channels for me to go watch AND more importantly BOOK TITLES you would recommend ?

SO ! For the future can you think of some way we might do this to help me specifically ?

I’d hate to miss out !

I’ll remember to include the price reduction code when i order my tools real soon thru you – Thanks

Love Kisses ‘n’ Cuddled to Pearl !

We’ll speak soon again I’m sure

Until Next Time … Take It Easy My Friend
