Okay, another thing you need to choose about
your stick is the curvature and the flexibility of the stick. Flexibility, if maybe you’re
not upper body strength, maybe you don’t have the upper body strength, maybe you want a
little bit more flexible of a stick. It’ll help your shot out. It’ll be a stronger shot.
It’s similar to like the boomerang. When you flex, the more flex you get, it’s going to
boomerang and sling the puck and it’ll make it go faster. The stiffer the stick, a lot
of the pro’s use that. Guys that have been playing for years will use a more, a stiffer
stick but I recommend if you’re starting out you get a more flexible stick. The curvature?
You do have to be careful about that. There is some legal, illegal sticks that you might
run into. They normally don’t check it but I would be careful about that. So check that
out and it helps with your shot.

For gods sake, stop saying 'errrr' rehearse your lines beforehand otherwise you just sound like your making the whole thing up on all of your videos. Keep them coming though, I like them but without the 'errr'

it would help to explain why curvature helps with your shot & maybe even why too much curve is illegal

actually, where your shot if placed has more to do with where you position your hands, and your follow through after the shot. Yeah the curve helps, but has more to do with your stance and skating style more than anything. A player who crouches down (scott gomez) is going to have a much different style of curve to a player who skates very high with the puck close to him (nik antropov).

ROFL, this guy is using an Easton Z-Carbon, a friggin $30 stick and hands down the worst stick I've ever used and he's telling people about flex and curves? Nigga please. A Z-Carb's 85 flex is equiv. to an AK27 110 flex

what a moron… he never explains WHY pros use a stiffer stick…..

IF you have the power to press and flex a stiffer stick, you will generate higher shot power because the stiffer stick will snap back faster than a more flexible stick…

There really isnt illegal sticks any more.. flex shouldnt be referred to a boomerang, are you expecting the puck to comeback or something lol. More of a slingshot action

@Mike61911 there are illegal sticks, he's talking about the curvature, there is a max curve and length of the blade, i think its 12 inches max for the blade, or at least for the league I ref.
