We’re going to simulate a ruck and the pattern
of the player taking the ball in a tackle. Andy is the tackler from the opposite team.
Instead of picking up the ball and moving, we’re going to try and clear this player
off the ball. We have a good clean ruck, and a player on our team can come and take this
ball cleanly away. Now you want to start with a good distance back. Get some good running
room and get some good speed. Handing the ball, step over your player. Come underneath,
ruck him off the ball like this. When you’re in this type of situation, step over the player
grab underneath and ruck over the ball.

hes not bridging as he is obviously a defender going for the ball. Hes on his feet so has rights to it…assuming he is the tackler that is. So you are all wrong…not bridging.

Bridging is only illegal if you are off your feet or if the referee believes you are placing your weight on the floor or the tackled player.

You can get away with placing your weight on the floor or the tackled player quite easily if you dont make it bait

Not really, you're likey to get punched. and you're also not meantto hit the ruck at speed, you're supposed to bind and then drive.

@BKsMassive When was this an individual sport? About 2-3 of your teammates should be coming in to support

@BKsMassive the arm and a leg technique is good when you have support behind you, in open filed play you just want to get lower then the person and keep your hind leg over the ball until your team comes and pushes you through
