The International Olympic Committee released
a short documentary on the unified Korean women’s ice hockey team. The two-minute video titled “PyeongChang’s
Korean Legacy” features interviews with players and staff from both sides, reflecting on their
experiences at the end of the historic run. Although the team lost all five of their matches,
the athletes forged a close bond and left a lasting impression as the world witnessed
them in action. Head coach Sarah Murray said it was great
to see that by the end you couldn’t tell who was from South or North Korea. The video is available on the Olympic Channel
website.
