Why should you buy this stick? WHY NOT?! My goal was to have one
superior stick in my bag that I feel like I can cross
all musical lines with — from jazz, to pop, to funk, to fusion. I needed one tool, one stick that I could totally
be myself 100%, relaxed, that I’m not thinking about it I needed something that I could let go and be confident
and trust, and just go in every situation. I needed one stick, and I found it.
We did it! Man, the specs! Wow! I guess the best way for me to
describe this is to give some history. I started off playing Vic Firth 5As, when
the 55As came out I went to those. I used the Steve Smith Signature
sticks a lot! I used 8Ds. But mainly, my main stick for the
majority of time, has always been the 3A. I’m such a fan of the feel of the 3A.
It’s all front heavy, and I needed that #1 So I had to have a very short taper. But as time goes on, I’m in the gym, I try to
work out, anyways, I started to outgrow the 3A! To the point where the 3A
started to feel like the 8D! And when we talked about specs,
I needed a 3A on steroids. But what I was running into with
the 3A design was the tip. I found myself on certain situations
bouncing between the 3A and the Steve Smith. It was this see-saw thing going on
and I need both! They both have a short taper. I like the fatness of the 3A tip,
but the clarity and beef of the Steve Smith tip. So I tried to combine those tips and we came
up with the perfect, the perfect situation! It’s beautiful! I have a stick with Vic Firth,
how do I feel about that? Wow… If anybody who really really knows me, knows that
I strive to be an honest person, a genuine person. One thing that my grandparents always tried to
instill in me is to be grateful. Regardless to whether you’re
on top of whether you’re on bottom. I’m trying not to ya know, be emotional.
But, I am emotional! I never thought this would happen. I’m freaking excited about that,
I can’t wait to get to some drums! Just know I’m excited!
Thank you very much! God bless ya!
