Ahoj! It is Zdenka Darula. I am here at this very calm location outdoors and I brought with me this new product from Feiyu Tech
called Vimble 2 which is a smartphone gimbal. By the way you can also use it
with GoPro and it is extremely affordable. I’m gonna look at it today.
The question is, would I recommend this to my friends? Let’s review this product. For the new faces, again my name is Zdenka Darula. I work as a photographer for many many
many years. I am a former model and few other things. If you enjoy tutorials, tech
reviews and fun vlogs, you might want to hit the subscribe button. One of the
things I always wanted from smartphone gimbal, was to extend the pole just like
this. Well, before we test this product and look at all the modes, let’s unbox it
together and let’s look at all specifications. Vimble 2 is 3 axis
stabiliser handheld gimbal which weighs only 428 grams, making it perfect for
travel. You can choose from three colours. Space Gray, Sakura pink and Snow White.
The gimbal comes with small tripod which is always very handy and anti-lost robe.
Built-in battery can be charged within up to two hours and it’s recommended to
use with adapter. Quick charger is banned from charging. You can also charge gimbal and smartphone as you are using it with power bank with included USB cable and
micro USB cable. The battery can last up to 5 hours as you are using it. Maximum
payload is 210 grams for landscape mode and 200 grams for portrait mode. One of
my favorite features is the telescopic hand which can extend up to 18
centimeters. Together with Vimble 2 you are getting 29 centimeters which makes
it so much easier to capture selfies and group shots because simply you are
getting wider view. Now this gimbal is not splash proof so you have to be
careful with bad weather. So what this gimbal can really do? Once
you download the Vicool app to your phone and connect the phone with the
gimbal via bluetooth, tilting panning and rolling angle is up to 320 degrees. Let’s
look at all gimbal modes. In follow mode we have three options. Lock, pan-follow, pan and tilt follow. So how do we change the modes? There is a function button in the
middle. When we press it 1x, we will be able to change it from the default mode
to all lock mode. So this one is a default mode and this should be lock
mode. Press 2x for panning, tilt and follow
mode. Press three times to switch camera from
front to back. Press 4x to activate auto rotation and time-lapse mode. Choose a starting position tap one time choose ending position and tap one
time to start. Press five times to initialize stabilization. Lay flat on the
surface. When the blue light flashes three times, it’s ready. We are able to
select the desired motor strength. Scene selection is default mode, then we have smooth mode and motion mode. Next you can change joystick settings. In camera
settings you can turn on HDR, auto panorama, beauty, save all original photos, photo video settings, panoramic picture quality, you are able to shoot
slow-motion at 120 frames a second, you can add a watermark and select picture
path. When it comes to microphone, you can use Bluetooth voice recording or cell
phone voice recording. So how good is this? Let me turn it on and let me use it
for a little bit. Here you have face tracking and face
follow. Let’s talk about the trigger a little
bit. When you press it three times, the camera will switch from back to the
front. Also this trigger can be used to lock the subject, so if I’m filming like
this right now and it’s moving all around if I want to lock on something, I
just press and hold. When I release it the mode will go back to normal. If I
press the trigger two times, it will reset the position. Obviously, you can use
it in a horizontal position as well as vertical. What do I think about this
gimbal? Well it’s extremely light so I can see that in a travel bag, I can see it in
a purse to be able to carry it around. It is stable. You can do great video with it.
I had no problem with it. It responds very nicely. I also like the fact that I
can actually adjust the motors. I can shoot panoramas, I can do time
lapses, motion lapses, all that. It is great for selfie. It is great for
vlogging and the price, it is very inexpensive, so yes I have to give a
thumbs up. I would recommend it to my friends, absolutely. It is it is very
surprising and very good product. So yeah I think I would give it thumbs up for
sure. Well, hit the thumbs up button if you liked today’s video, don’t forget to
subscribe for all future videos and more tech reviews such as these. If you have
any questions, comments, please don’t hesitate them to write them below in the

Last 2 vids are very good for people new to photography. These gimbals you are presenting, I've seen something like them in store but I never knew they are so capable. I really thought of these devices that they are just another shaped plastic to be sold for whatever money it brings .Since the camera was invented it was all about the new camera , the new lens , filters, storage, format etc etc and like a bubble it popped when these gimbals appeared , I think the next technology generation in photography are these devices . I have no doubt this technology will evolve very fast in the next years while the cameras just change the model really .

Amazing video as always. That is a very cool little tool. It looks very light weight and easy to use. I like that it can do timelapse also.

I am learning how to use my new Osmo Mobile 2. I saw that the digital zoom sensitivity could be adjusted on DJI GO and saw someone say it could be used for dolly zoom. Unfortunately. walking backward and keeping subject centered and zooming in was like trying to juggle three plates. I tried to used ActiveTrack, but zooming cannot be done when using ActiveTrack. So, while the vertigo effect worked it was wobbly. Do you have any suggestions?
