– [Director] And then at the end, you give him a nice compliment– – Yeah, compliment me. – What, those were all compliments! What are you talking about? (upbeat music) – Well, honestly, I’ve missed you. So over the past few years, I
watched a bunch of your goals. And I really liked this one
that I came across, you know? There you are, hogging
the puck like normal. There you go. Guy’s open but you don’t– – [Toews] Look, I’m off here. – [Shaw] Little, how’s she doing, nice goal. The celly, though, like, come on? – [Toews] Like that stick twirl? – [Shaw] I’m mean, you act
like you’ve done it before. It’s pretty. – I don’t know if I’ve done that before, that’s the thing. – That’s true, it’s a pretty goal. That’s just pure joy,
that’s like little kid Jonathan Toews right there. You can tell, here it is, look at that. I don’t know if I’d ever pull that off. – [Toews] No? – [Shaw] No, I would’ve
tripped right there. – [Toews] Don’t sell
yourself short, big guy. – [Sport Announcer] Magnificent play made by the Captain Jonathan Toews! – [Shaw] I like seeing the
tongue out, though, it’s– – [Toews] I was gassed,
I’m not going to lie to you. It was all or nothing on that play. We were probably going back the other way, I was going to change on the back check – Yeah!
(laughs) – If it didn’t go in the net. – [Sport Announcer] An
overtime, game-winning goal! The Hawks 4, and the
Canucks 3 in overtime. – [Sport Announcer]
Gets left then turned it over at the point. Here’s Vermette passing to
Desjardins over the Duck line. Waves into the slot, there’s Shaw. Moves in, shoots, he scores! What a play by Andrew Shaw! – It’s been a while Shawzy.
We had to go back in the archives to find a
highlight of you wearing the right red sweater here. But, shallow pass by Desi… Shawzy with the back-hand paddle. Been using that that lefty-blade,
lefty-hook this whole time and it finally worked out
on a backhand, there, eh? You got it up under the bar. – [Shaw] In a hurry. – [Toews] In a hurry. – You like the celly, though? – I do like the celly. But you do that every goal,
though, so it’s like– – [Shaw] I know. I get a little excited. – [Toews] I got jacked up
the first, second time maybe. Well, Shawzy, it’s good to have you back. – [Shaw} Thanks, Man. – Might have
a different feeling here this time next week, but
good to have you back, buddy. – Thank you. – Let’s go!

I really enjoy these videos. I feel like the team in the last couple of years have been missing the "fun" and with Shaw back the players seem more relaxed in interviews and press.

Shawzy was my favorite player when he was on the team. Glad he’s back.

Kirby Dach suffered a head injury in a recent game with the Wild . The hit he received was quite dirty! I hope the Blackhawks noticed and remember that particular play in the future.
