A nice list, but I think I'd change the title to 5 of the Greatest players in Rugby History, or do it by decade. Many names missing Dan Carter (AB), Christian Cullen (AB), Bryan Habana (SA), Serge Blanco (FRA), Michael Lynagh (AUS) and many more…

lomu was the boss, no question. I'm English, my eldest son was born during the '95 world cup, my wife wouldn't let me call him Jonah….. so Joshua my boy, if you read this, Lomu was the man and the player I hoped you'd grow up to emulate…. (you did by the way, always proud of you)

Johnny Changed the way 10 is played, Carter perfected it. I would switch him in for Campo
McCaw imo is the greatest player of all time, Although he was offside most of his career if he's honest :p
Lomu is a Rugby Legend, changed the game – RIP great one.

Depends on how far back you want to go You could also start off with players like George Nepia, Colin Meads, Willie John McBride, B G Williams, The Ella Brothers, Christan Cullen, Gareth Edwards, JPR Williams, Danie Gerber, Serge Blanco and Phillipe Sella, Hugo Porta and Don Clarke. Just to name a few

I think to be thought of as truly great you should be an all round player. Clips show BOD scoring great tries and putting in huge tackles, same for Wilko and McCaw. Not one defensive clip from Campese or Jonah. Jonah, for all his greatness, was a weak link in defence. Also, No one from the great Welsh team of the 70s? Or the late great joost Vd Westhuizan?

All great players . However your history is very limited. You should look up a guy called Gareth Edwards and see what a real superstar plays like .

The only one in that list I would seriously consider is McCaw.And that would be for his overall captaincy,as he wasn't even the best 7 NZ has produced ( that is Michael Jones).

Sorry, neither Lomu or Campese make it for me.JL is only rated because of what he did v England in 1995,great runner in open spaces, but had poor basic skills.Campese is rated because of 1991,but frankly was owned by Kirwan for years. He had poor defence and was overrated. Both Kirwan and B.G.Williams were superior.

Wlikinson, great goalkcker and excellent game management, but you would have him ahead of Dan arter? Seriously? DC shits all over him as a runner, and has the same GM skills.Wilkinson only has an edge in goalkicking.

BOD,never saw the accolades this guy got.A good, not great player IMO.NZ alone produced the likes of Robertson,Stanley,Bunce and Smith and I rate all of them above him.If he had played more tests,I believe Danie Gerber would have outstripped them

Gareth Edwards, greatest European player ahead of Blanco and O'Driscoll, and still a major contender for best all-round player. Jason Leonard was consistent over a long career but not as good a prop as Graham Price, and not as regular 1st choice for the Lions. All-time XV (asterisks for definite selections): Price*, Fitzpatrick*, Du Randt, Eales, Meads*, McCaw*, M.Jones*, Du Preez, Edwards*, Carter*, Lomu*, Gerber, O'Driscoll*, Campese*, Blanco*- I've moved Du Preez to #8 as he was too good to leave out as were both McCaw and Jones. Tough choice for 2nd row alongside the great Meads. (subs: Paparemborde,  Wood, Johnson, Brooke, Rives, Shelford, Van der Westhuizen, Ella, Gibson, Kirwan, Cullen).. In my time the greatest stand-offs/fly halves have been Carter, Ella, Barry John, Wilkinson, Porta, Lynagh and Bennett. Some other greats not mentioned: Gray, Whineray, Matfield, Hill, M.Davies, Gregan, Horan, Sella, G.Davies, JPR Williams. Special mention to Parisse for sterling service with a weaker team. Loveridge, Going and Catchpole were excellent scrum halves… so many great players over the years and I've only gone back to the 60s

    1st Sir Gareth Edwards Wal
    2nd Sir Colin Meads NZ
    3rd Johan Lomu NZ
    4th Richie McCaw Nz
    5th Serge Blanco Fra

They are my five greatest Rugby Football Union internationals of all time , although Sit Gareth Edwards was voted by a poll and a professional panel alike has the ‘Greatest’ Rugby Football Player If the 20th Century , I think anyone who knows there Rugby has to put Sir Gareth Edwards in there top five regardless of the professional era .

Not to say everyone has a different view and option which I fundamentally respect sincerely, thank you for taking the time to read .

You can never get bored watching Jonah the great. Gone but will never be forgotten. R.I.P big Jonah. Me and my son still love watching re runs of your talent and skills. A true inspiration to the up and coming players who one day wish to be half of what you were. You were in a league of your own.

Hahahaha! You have Johnny Wilkinson but no Dan Carter?

Wilkinson was great over a couple of years but Carter dominated his position for the best part of a decade. He was the highest test point scorer in history and scored about 4 times as many tries as Wilkinson.

    Rubbish video.

Ritchie McCaw the G.O.A.T closely followed by Jonah (because of his illness never played to his full potential none the less A TRUE LEGEND) C. Cullen would be next and in that order from there the order of other players is really difficult Dan Carter most likely as far as I'm concerned so many greats apologizes for naming all nz players but IMO that's my order I could name loads of world players but I don't want to incase I misspell their names, so as not to discredit them I will refrain from naming them.

I think 1 and 2 should be changed but its a great list and Jonah is a legend(R.I.P) I'd also have C. Cullen and D. Carter there as well but my choices are ABs so I'd be biased slightly you're list would definitely be in the top 10 yeap I'd include J. Vander Westhuizen also J. Eales and S Blanco.

Boden Barret is marginally the best player that has ever lived, better than Carter all round, as good a rugby brain as driscoll, faster than most international wingers, excellent in defence, etc. Find a better all round player and you can have 1p

Most people r the best at a few things, u would say “he isn’t the biggest or the fastest, or the strongest but he has a good mindset”… well Jonah has all of them, apart from defence, I mean obviously was still amazing at it, but he wasn’t the best in the world at it. Defence and kicking were the two things, that some players were better than him at… but then he was the best in the world at everything else
