What’s up guys? It’s Derek from Total Hockey, today I’m here
to test out the 2017 True Xcore 9 stick. First thing to mention about the Xcore stick
is obviously the Xcore blade. Strategically embedded in the blade here is
the compressible urethane Xcore insert. What this does is provide 30% more spin on
contact with the puck and it’s going to give you a lot more accuracy with your shooting. Improvements over last year’s model include
a reduction in weight and an optimized smart-flex profile. Which, gives the stick its’ custom kick-point
that’ll change based on the type of shot that you take. True over the last few years has come onto
the market providing a stick with optimum accuracy, control and feel. With this stick you get a classic dampened
wood like feel for excellent control and you also get the dynamic performance that you
can expect from a composite stick. Today I’ve been using an MC2 pattern with
an 85 flex. In case you forget what the hallmarks of a
True Xcore 9 stick are they’ve put it right here, ACF. Which stands for Accuracy, Control, and Feel. To get yourself the Xcore 9 you can hit the
button right there. We’ll see you next time.

@playtruehockey, AKA TRUE Hockey is a company that does not stand behind its product. They warrantied my son’s first $280 stick after it broke during regular use and play and when the replacement broke (not on a shot or slash) they would not warranty the replacement – the product is not good and the dedication to the quality of the product and the consumer/client is horrible. A teammate of my son’s (16U player) has broken three this year as well. I would caution anyone thinking about purchasing a TRUE product. #TrueHockeyGarbage
